Applications

The Axicon 6525 - S is designed for all barcodes where a 5, 6, 10 or 20mil aperture is mandatory (such as EAN8, EAN13, UPC-A, UPC-E, GS1-128 and ITF-14), up to 125mm width including quiet zones. For the user who needs to verify barcodes on both consumer unit (point of sale) products and also the smaller sized traded pack barcodes – typically those printed Thermal or thermal transfer to labels or card).

The “S” range of Axicon verifiers have a  “Continuous Scan” feature.

Just place the verifier over the barcode (or slightly above or below the barcode), press the trigger and slide the verifier over the code – in less than a second you can have results averaged over a maximum of 100 scans of the code at different points in the bar height.

Hardware

CCD trigger ISO compliant linear barcode verifier. Aperture automatically switchable between 5, 6,10 and 20mil. Scan width 125mm (including light margin). Wavelength of light 660 nm. Weight: 180g. Size: 145 x 113 x 128 mm.

Naturally, as you would expect, the new 6525-S verifier is still fully functional with all of the features of the Axicon verification range including AI checking, Genspec checking, Product Lookup, Job Referencing, User Data, etc etc.

Connectivity

USB2 connection to PC. Please note that ‘S’ range verifiers cannot be used on MAC computers nor can they be used on the PV range of portable verifiers.
